Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion - iPhone

Hotly anticipated flight sim Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion is set to wing its way into the App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch any time now.
The game, by Namco Networks, is being hyped up for "pushing the graphical capabilities of the hardware to its limits".
In the game, players can fly in either first-person flight sim or third-person action modes.
Ace Combat Xi boasts HD graphics, multiple HUDs, and real satellite topographic imagery from Japan Space Imaging Corporation.
It is the latest instalment in one of the best-selling air combat franchises in the world, which has sold more than 10 million games since 1995.
This new game will use the iPhone and iPod Touch gyroscopic sensors and touch screen for controlling original and licensed aircraft.
Jonathan Kromrey, general manager of Apple games for Namco Networks, said: "Ace Combat Xi is a premium game that meets the high expectations of its large and established fan base and looks fantastic thanks to the terrific technology in the iPhone and iPod Touch.
“This is our biggest investment in an Apple project to date and we think gamers will agree the results look and play great!”
Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion will be available soon.
