GamesCampus announced today that the upcoming MMO flight-simulator,Heroes In the Sky, will have closed-beta sessions starting in June. The game is one of the few PvE versus PvP games that features story-driven missions based on events from World War II.

David Chang, EVP of Marketing and Business Development for GamesCampus commented in the press release, saying…

"This new game will take PVP to a level never experienced before by gamers though massive scale aerial dogfights,"… "Heroes in the Sky expands the traditional scope of air-combat games by providing Realm vs. Realm type territorial battles with MMO leveling features and an all encompassing community experience."

What’s more is that Heroes in the Sky is actually free-to-play, which is kind of insane considering how good it looks. Players will be tasked to bomb blimps, sink ships and blast the living crap out of other players while doing so.
